Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Terraza Restaurant and Bar, located on the fifth floor of Gran Hotel Ciudad de México. As a travel writer with a penchant for exceptional culinary experiences, I was intrigued by the promise of gastronomic pleasures paired with a panoramic view of downtown Mexico City - and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.Upon perusing the menu, my eyes were drawn to the pork tenderloin in cider marinade. The dish arrived elegantly plated, accompanied by cambray potato sautéed in lemon butter, broccoli, and carrot parmesan. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and meticulously prepared. The ambiance of this iconic downtown restaurant added to the overall dining experience, making it one of the best restaurant bars in Mexico City. The attentive staff, led by the manager Hugo, ensured that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The attention to detail in both service and cuisine was evident, highlighting the commitment to culinary innovation and guest satisfaction at La Terraza. In conclusion, if you find yourself at Gran Hotel Ciudad de México, I highly recommend indulging in a meal at La Terraza Restaurant and Bar. The combination of exquisite food, a breathtaking view, and impeccable service truly make it a standout dining destination in the heart of Mexico City.
